The Gatherings Podcast is a podcast where Chrystina and Jessica talk about party hosting from the point of view of two female engineers. While they appreciate the beauty of a well-curated tablescape and will gladly Instagram a dessert table full of mini doughnuts, they have found in their own party planning experiences that they like to keep things simple.

Chrystina and Jessica met online in 2014 and became friends based on the fact that they were both civil/architectural engineers who loved to host parties.

Meet Jessica
Jessica is an engineer living in upstate New York, just outside of the wild Adirondacks with her husband, Chuck, their two little boys, dog Brody, and a little flock of chickens. Jessica:
Writes about rustic, seasonal food with a focus on local ingredients on her blog, Sweet Love & Ginger. (Recipes can be found here.)
Has a huge passion for educating people about essential oils.
Sells herbal products (including teas!) and does consultations through her business Old Wisdom Wellness.
Meet Chrystina
Chrystina is an engineer living in the city of Philadelphia. She is engaged to be married and balances her job as a management consultant with her extracuricular hobbies (parties, greeting cards, singing, and content creation). Chrystina:
Was a resident assistant in college.
Would always rather bake than cook.
